What is Fyaril?

Fyaril is an e-commerce platform on a mission to make high-quality, sustainable products from India available worldwide with a single click. We provide a powerful sales channel for manufacturers, artisans, and brands to reach international customers reliably and efficiently.

Where is Fyaril located?

Fyaril is headquartered in Sweden with a subsidiary in India. Through our partners, we have digitally connected warehouses in Mumbai, Spain, Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands.

Which countries does Fyaril sell into?

Fyaril is a global platform. Customers from various countries see products in their local currency and language. We are continuously building local sites to enhance the shopping experience while enabling sellers to reach a worldwide audience.

B2B & B2C Models

Is Fyaril a B2B or B2C marketplace?

Fyaril supports sellers in both B2B and B2C models. While our B2C model is fully automated on the platform, most B2B deals are currently facilitated offline by our sales and marketing teams based in Europe.

How is an order processed in the B2B plan?

Sellers can specify curated pricing, quantity discounts, and payment terms directly from their dashboard. Any incoming "Request for Quote" from customers is passed directly to you. The Fyaril team closely coordinates communication for samples and quotations to ensure a smooth process until the order is delivered.

Financials: Payments & Commissions

How much commission does Fyaril charge?

Fyaril commission starts from zero for the B2C model. For the B2B model, Fyaril takes a 5-15% commission on the order value, depending on your seller plan.

What are the payment terms for my sales?

We initiate payments on the 1st and 15th of each month for orders booked in the previous 15-day period. For example, sales made between the 1st and 14th will be paid out at the end of that month.

How are currency fluctuations handled?

Fyaril uses live exchange rates. Customers always pay in their local currency, and you will always be paid in Indian Rupees. We maintain full transparency about the exchange rates used for all transactions.

Shipping, Logistics & Returns

Who is responsible for shipping in the B2C plan?

The seller is responsible for sending goods to Fyaril's Mumbai warehouse. From there, we consolidate orders and ship the goods directly to the customer, who chooses their preferred shipping method at checkout.

Who is responsible for shipping in the B2B plan?

For large B2B deliveries, Fyaril facilitates ocean freight (FCL and LCL) to our European warehouses. Last-mile delivery is then arranged according to customer preference and is borne by the customer. For smaller deliveries, the customer chooses from multiple shipping options provided by Fyaril.

How are returns handled?

Our goal is to minimize returns. We discourage returning goods to India due to cost. Instead, Fyaril offers return credits (up to 10% of monthly sales after 6 months) and provides 30-60 days of free storage for returned items in Europe, giving you a chance to resell them. B2B orders are non-returnable unless there is a manufacturing defect.

Can I store my products in Europe?

Yes. To facilitate quick delivery, Fyaril offers sellers the option to store goods in our warehouses in Sweden, Spain, Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands. This service is charged separately and is ideal for sellers on our Ambassador and B2B plans.

Getting Started on Fyaril

How do I start selling my products in Europe?

As a first step, go to our Sell With Fyaril page and apply to become a vendor. Once your application is approved, we will create your seller account and email you the login details. You can then follow the instructions in your account to get started.

Do I need a European bank account or VAT number?

No! You do not need a European bank account or VAT number. Your primary responsibility is to receive the order, pack the goods, and hand the package over to the delivery partner.

I'm not aware of European compliance and regulations. Can I still sell?

Yes. Fyaril makes it easy to be compliant. We will help you understand the specific requirements for your products and offer free training and webinars to help you learn about the European market.
